Media Ignores New Data: Global Warming Ended

In yet another example of the media's selective attention to detail, certain reports continue to be ignored. Case in point is the report from this past weekend. The United Kingdom's weather service released new data suggesting 'global warming' has not occurred for the past 15 years. In fact, the globe may be headed for a mini ice age.

The findings of the report were published in the Daily Mail, Telegraph, and a Wall Street Journal op-ed.

I checked to see if the mainstream press is ignoring this report as much as they ignored the Fast and Furious scandal.  As I suspected, no mention on MSNBC, NPR, BBC, USA Today, New York Times, Huffington Post, and certainly not a word on Al Gore's Blog. We all know if this new data suggested otherwise, each of these organizations would be covering it. How is that for journalism?

When the media is not ignoring these type of stories, they simply own every side of the argument.  Recall the USA Today report linking an increase in snow to global warming - yes, more snow means 'global warming' when forced to explain current events. But wait!  What happened to the lack of snowfall being linked to global warming as our politicians told us?   Americans forget - so they get away with having it both ways.

No one doubts the increase in CO2 emissions, but the global temperatures have not risen as we are told in the main stream press. The data suggests global temperatures have not risen since 1997. The last 10 years of daily Earth temperatures from satellites is available online.

The media continues to refuse a journalistic approach to climate. Instead, as we still see, any reports not in line with the agenda are simply ignored.
